“Ever since I was a child, I was fascinated by cooking and food. It was my happy place, being in the kitchen with my mum or watching cooking programmes instead of cartoons endlessly. Once I mastered a few dishes and everyone loved my cooking, that's when it happened - I was addicted. I had fallen in love with cooking.”

Although I found pleasure and escapism in cooking from an early age, I didn't believe my passion could turn into a career. In 2018 I took the plunge and went on BBCs Masterchef UK. After walking away as a semi finalist, I had no idea my life had changed forever.
After spending 17 years in corporate banking, and returning from my Masterchef experience it was obvious to me I didn’t belong at that desk, I craved to be in a kitchen. I took the leap of faith into the world of professional cooking — and I've never looked back.
